We are pleased to announce the release of the first preview version of our tool for creating style design for Qt. The idea of the tool is to get rid of manual coding when creating QStyle-based styles for QWidgets and develop the new styles in Adobe XD, Figma or DC Studio Tool. This version demonstrates the basic capabilities for importing Adobe XD documents and export these to XML/Java-FastInfoset file format. In the future we will provide a special Qt-style module, which will be able to load such XML and render the Qt style without any coding. In current app implementation the functions of exporting components, resources, color tables and fonts are supported. You can manipulate with the document tree structure and change the layout of grouping elements. Additionally, a mechanism for working with themes has been implemented - when a design document can have several color palettes associated with figures and ability to change the palette with one button-click for the entire document. For example, you can have Light and Dark themes, switching which, the document is being redrawn in a dark or light colours. The application also has basic functionality for creating shapes and text. This is not a self-sufficient application yet, but it gives an idea of the direction in which we wish to develop this product. Our current efforts are focused on high-quality import from Adobe XD format (completed) and Figma (will be completed soon).
