Docking Behavior Using WSL

2 months 1 week ago #1 by kmbar13
Has anyone successfully used QtitanDocking via Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)? When using our application that uses QtitanDocking via WSL attempting to move the dockable windows is impossible. Once I noticed the issue with our application, I tried the Qtitan examples, and the examples have the same issue. It will allow you to start to move the window and then seems to lose the mouse control once it's floating. This is with QtitanDocking 4.1.0 and 4.8.0 using Qt 5.15.2.

Using the following command:
wmctrl -m
returned the following info:

Name: Weston WM
Class: N/A
PID: N/A
Window manager's "showing the desktop" mode: N/A

The problem is that you use Wayland based WM and since the implementation of this protocol is still unstable, there may be problems depending on the Linux Window Manager.
