If the qtnribbon1.dll is not in the same directory of the executed file (or in the system32 path under windows) the program returns a big number (not null) but without any message.
It would be nice to get a message for the missing dll/lib.
qtnribbon1.dll dynamically linked (no dynamic loading, namely linking) to the application. The operating system should give a message that the application does not start due to the lack of this dll. I note that for registered users allowed to static linking this library, and this problem does not occur.
